[s-cars] HID wiring

No offense taken JC!  Honestly, I would probably get the 35w next time if I did it on these cars again.  I can't say how much brighter they are as I hove nothing to compare them to.  I get flashes every now and then, more so in the rain the other night -but not that much.  They are correctly aimed, but when people see the brightness of the headlights, even though the light isn't directed at them, they think my brights are on.  I just remember reading that there was a decent amount of higher output for the extra $5 I spent.  After driving with the absolutely HORRIBLE stock low beams out here where I live(CO. mountains), I went for the most light I could get -that, and my night vision starting to deteriorate -stupid aging;-)  I never messed with the high beams as they have always been great.  It's surprising to me how much different the stock highs are vs. the stock lows.

Moi aussi Jason. I already get flashes once in a while w 35W's and (properly aimed) E-codes. IMO over-blazing the low beams is a diminishing-to-negative-gains / flawed-logic concept, but like uber-stiff springs and +2/+3 tire sizes, i have found there's usually no arguing w the "more is always better" view of those who want them (no offense Dace - just IMO).

Full landing-light effect in high beams is another story however, and having lived in the countryside for long years at various times I do have sympathy for those who want / need max high beams... The OEM high beams are fine for me but if I lived in Montana or someplace I might go HID 35w or even 55w for those too... Where I live/drive now I seldom get a chance to use high beams anyway so it's not an issue... Adding aftermarket fog/driving beams under the bumper would more likely be my only lighting upgrade and even that prob not on the menu.

That being said, the volts(checked using the radar detector voltmeter feature) drop ~.1-.2 volts when the low beams are on and ~.2-.4 volts with the high beams on. That seems good to me...
