Toluene works great as an octane booster. IIRC I added a gallon and a half at fill up and that got me to ~96 octane. There is a formula that you can use to calculate your target octane. I don't remember it, but if you do a search for tolulene on the QW UrS4/... Forum you will find it there.

If you're getting some pinging, make sure your fuel delivery is good also.
