It does work great, and I use to use it. But is too expensive to use that way now. Locally, 120 octane is less than $11 a gallon. Tolulene at 114 octane is more expansive at $8 for a small can. Plus you have to add oil to it which is expensive at $2 a qt. or more.
Cheaper and easier to buy high octane race gas and mix.
