[s-cars] Valve cover leak causing boost drop?

Definitely the half moon.....I dribbled a little water in the area and was able to pinpoint it.....put my finger on it specifically......thanks though.  I guess the question is whether this leak is enough to cause my boost issues?  It is something I need to deal with anyway, but still would like to know....

  Are you sure it's not leaking from the rubber 90 deree hose that goes into the back of the VC? Mine deteriorated and was leaking and hissing like that.

    Hi all,

    I was just able to get a minute with the proper tools to pressure test for vacuum leaks......I've noticed a little oit leaking down the back of the engine before, but not enough to need to add any between oil changes.....I now can clearly hear air escaping past one of the half moons at the VC gasket under 10 lbs. of pressure......question is, is this enough to be causing my boost levels to drop and "lean out" at higher loads? All hoses are solid under that pressure.

    Car has 140K on it, original gasket afaik. Thanks for any info!
