[s-cars] Benefits of a Lightweight Flywheel

I have - but mainly non-enthusiast drivers getting a turn at the wheel
of an enthusiasts car and stalling it. What's immediately noticeable on
a light FW setup is when free-revving - the motor spins up and down
totally differently. There is decidedly an effect in the first moment
of acceleration but a nano-second after that inertia is absorbed, the
LWFW setup is ahead all the way. I have no qualms about LWFW on a car I
drive all the time but wouldn't do it on a car the wife was going to
drive. While shes a good driver and would figure it out, it would
irritate her at first and she'd end up hating the car...

This seemed most evident in neutral with the clutch released and the car idling. I never noticed any driving differences that were at all negative like the supposed drivability issues.
