Nice coverage of the issue, JC.  Now, we hope it does not deteriorate  
into the coverage of those individuals who could not remove the nut at  
all.  : )

This topic was started by Tony Curran asking how to remove his fan  
clutch.  Tony has an S6, which he has clearly noted.

Anything to do with how it works on an S4 had no place in the  
discussion.  Hopefully, Tony is also smart enough to recognize bad  
information.  The pull the radiator advice with the bumper still on  
was the real indication that your entire post was counterproductive,  
not just wrong, David.
