So, being in the land of corn, I have been adding about 5 gallons of e85
(it's really e70)per fill up.
Stuff is $2.99 a gallon at last fill, almost 70 cents less than 93 octane.
Pig likes it.  Of course it does.
I recently learned that the already broke, great state of Illinois has an
annual $350 rebate if you and your eco car purchase 250 gallons in a year.
Bwa ha ha, ha ha !   Gotta love the bureaucratters.  Not enough that they
subsidize the making of this stuff, now they pay you to use it.  My
conscience is clear though since they violate my zone in so many other
ways.
And; of course, I won't know if they will ever really pay since I can't put
in the claim until year end.   And, too, the fuel system could blow up in
the meantime.
