[s-cars] DC area wrench

I'm in Silver Spring and am challenged with finding a good wrench myself
Bob.  Seems like they have so much business around here that they cannot be
bothered to even return calls.  If he finds a good one, please pass it on.
I do most of my own work but having a good wrench in one's back pocket is a
good idea.

Hi Y'all,

My son is getting rather severely bent over by a local (to him) 
wrench in the Alexandria, VA, area.  $700+ to replace a serp belt 
plus an idler pulley, for cryin' out loud!

Can anyone recommend a decent, dependable, and honest European car 
wrench in that general area?  Alexandria would be an excellent 
location for him but not too far away would be helpful as well.  He 
drive a little (gasp!) Mercedes 320 SLK and the guy who has been 
doing work for him for a while appears to have gotten greedy when his 
best wrench left his shop a year or so back
