[s-cars] Sick HID

The purple color is probably due to mismatched bulbs. One has an
extremely high color temperature value bulb which gives a dim and
purple light. This is due, most likely, to a purchasing error. If
the light comes on at all then ballast/igniter is probably OK. I'd
go somewhere like EBay and get a set of matching 5300K or perhaps
6000K bulbs with the proper conformation for your lights and install
them. All should be well after that. You might find that you could
save a couple of buck simply by purchasing a whole set for your car
and just throwing away the purple bulb.
