Paul,

I know you said you had things figured out, but if you are not  
checking here, you should before deciding on a course of action:

This brand is also on sale on ebay and may be cheaper there.  You will  
get the same good service.  As far as McCullough goes,
those were sold 6 years ago by a Andy Chiu ? in HK.  Prices have  
dropped considerably.  The warranty is a little difficult to service
since you pay the shipping (to China), so I always recommend that two  
complete sets  or at least a spare bulb set is the best way
to insure you don't have a long, drawn-out issue.

I have an original McCullough in one car and a VVME in the other with  
over 5 years of flawless service.
