Yup. Was all over the Facebook Audi pages this morning. Sorry to see Peugeot go, for competition's sake. There will be privateer 908s though, with partial factory support (odds are anyway).
In other news...APR is (strongly) considering adding a second R8 to their Grand-AM GT campaign later in the year as well (I guess Audi made them a deal on the "development" car they sent over to Daytona)...and Steven Hooks says they may run it in ALMS (and overseas as well) if they homologate the GT-3 spec version. The only difference is the cage, ABS and traction control, and they say it's a very easy (3 day) conversion and the R8 was developed to be converted easily. Kudos to Audi.
