The color temperature of the sun is 5300 K. Anything lower than that
will look more yellow and higher than that will look more toward blue
(and all the way, eventually, to violet). I like 5300 K to match
sunlight but a bit higher than that, up to 6000 K maximum, is
acceptable (to me anyway). As Lee says you get more useful light on
the road at these lower color temperatures.
