what sort of intermittent cut-out are your referring to...?

remember when I borrowed a spare ECU from you I was chasing the same thing (on a stock engine) and it turned out to be my ECU. Speculation has it the coil drivers go bad... I bought a used one from a 95 S6 and it cured my ill.

If you need to replace the cps the generic one that you splice and mount (BBHME301, the subject of multiple group buys) is available from bbautomacao.com

not sure what just one costs but they'll sell you 100 for $690..
