Also, TPMS systems are absolute pressure gauges, and assume the atmospheric
pressure is 14.7psi on the outside of the tire. If you live in Colorado,
like I do, they are always off by about 2.7 psi, the difference between sea
level 14.7 and our approx. 12.0psi.
