BTW, whilst the car is up on lift having clutch replaced, is it worthwhile
replacing other bits?

Well, none of those. Visiting friends in Concord (where I parked next to a
S4) and Dover. In between, went to Turner Motorsport to pick up some
Bilstein shocks for my Jag XJ8. Trivia: Jaguar use Bilstein for OE shocks!!
