[s-cars] Did we miss the 10th Anniversary of the AudiFans S-car list?

I think the original was the qlist/Quattro list that I know I was signed up
to well before I left Colorado mid-'95.  The audi-s-cars list was started
two or three years later, as I remember, and moved  to the audifans format
when the server was overstressed and Dan shifted things over.  Bob, didn't
Audi USA first get into our business back then, around that time, telling us
that we couldn't be the quattro list, or the quattro club?

Anyway, the above may be slightly faulty, but those are my hazy memories.

David,

A quick search of my partially archived emails produced the partial message
below.  Apparently I signed up for an s-car list on May 12, 1988.  I'm
positive that there had been a considerable amount of Audi list traffic well
before 1988.  We were involved with the second Pike's Peak run in 1988.
There had been much discussion of the first PP Run well before then and a
spirit of camaraderie had developed well before he first PP Run.  Starting
about 1993 or '94 or thereabouts?
