[s-cars] Spark plug preference at the moment?

The way I have understood it is that if your are running stock coils the plug with which you will have the least issues is the F5DPOR plug. The only real issues with them, other than price, is that there are some reports of shoddy workmanship in them where the electrodes have fallen off. Not good. I can't say this is widespread, but it definitely is scary considering the potential cost of repairs. I tried the NGK equivalent, PFR6Q which I didn't really like. The F5DPOR plug was supposedly made to be mated with the coils in these cars, which would explain why they are the ones that seem to work the best. As these coil packs age, they can be prone to be more finicky with different plugs. While I like the clean look of it, I did away with the stock coil/POS system when I started to have problems a couple of years ago simply because of the cost of replacement being too high and the pain that it is to diagnose issues with that system. I have
been running the 034 system since then and it's much easier to diagnose issues with it. But I digress...
That being said, I have run the FR5DTC plugs and really like them. They might not last as long as the stock plug, but they are WAY cheaper. I am now on a set of the NGK equivalent plugs and so far, they are doing well. They are a bit more expensive, but I've always been a fan of NGK plugs.
