Change it....it's due anyway. Probably coincidence and if they didn't remove the downpipe they probably didn't fool with the O2 sensor.

Easy swap (at least IME) and it'll be over and done with.

Subject: [s-cars] Code 2342

List-

As mentioned before, my car just got back from a butt load of work at
the shop. I know in the course of this work, the exhaust was removed
(clutch was replaced), as well as both front axles, fwiw.

Anyway, now, every now and then, the check engine light come on when
I'm just tooling along. Usually within the first few minutes of
driving, and only stays on for a few minutes, then goes out again. So I
pulled codes today and I got:

2342

Heated Oxygen Sensor
Defective Sensor or Wiring to sensor defective
Resistance Heater in probe faulty
Symptom: Emissions not within specifications

Now, here is the question: Is it just time to replace the O2 sensor, or
is it suspicious that it happen right after the shop just had everything
apart and now there is a bad connection? I have no idea of the age of
the O2 sensor, I have never replaced it, and I've had the car since
~115K miles (187K now).

	Thanks.
