I have had success in removing the blower motor and lubricating it.
Clean it up well, with an odor free cleaning agent, and lube with a good synthetic oil at both ends of the motor shaft.
You may have to do some fussing about to get to the shaft at the end opposite the blower.
I have drilled a small hole in the motor case to get oil into the bushing in some applications.
Have done this on both Porsche and Audi heater blowers.

Paul,
Are you sure it's the blower motor. I have a squeal and similar have been
reported as the cabin temp sensor fan.
