I was able to repair it.
Look for cracked solder joint - repair and you're good to go.

Sounds like a bad "comfort relay" 329 located in the driver's side kick panel.
There are a few posts on quattroworld.com about this relay, if it fails your windows/sunroof are inoperable.
As I recall it's a pricey relay.
