Mike,
#1 check the ignition switch for failure, could be causing the instrument cluster problems.
#2 I have a UrS4 instrument cluster, was working fine when I "parked" the car some years ago... ;-)
#3 What is the odometer drive sensor thingy? I may have it on my 93 UrS3 parts car.
#4 Climate control issues are usually a bad solder joint and can be fixed by pro for $50 or you can fix it yourself with a soldering iron. check Quattroworld
