Hedz, a question.

The hood on my S6A is damaged along the lower lip where the grill
attaches. A year or two back I picked up a good hood in the Omaha
area.  Before I try swapping them, wanted to ask the list if anyone
else has done this.

The only visible difference between the two is the insulation piece.
On my car, there is an aluminum looking patch right over the turbo
area. On the other hood, there is not.  The topography of the
insulation (variation in surface depressions) also appears to be
different. The spare hood also is missing some of the labeling on my
hood.

There is a part number embossed into the insulation on both hoods
differing only in the last character.  This appears to be the PN for
the insulation rather than the hood.  The FA gives the same PN for an
S4 as an S6 except for the last character (a C rather than a D). I
cannot find a PN stamped on the hood in either case.

If I have an S4 hood sitting against the wall, will it fit on my S6?
