[s-cars] No start??

Thanks but it is something else.? I just tossed my 50amp charger on it with no change.? The positive was connected to the stub in the engine compartment and the negative was connected to the engine.? I figure this bypasses all the grounds that could be suspect.? Anything out there that could inhibit the starter from operating?

   Check the negative battery cable. Happens on my 200q20v when it's loose. Doesn't look loose though even though it is.

        Gents,
 
 This has got me totally confused.? Victim is a 95.5 S6 with 175K miles.? I parked the car a few days ago. An hour later wife goes to move it, comes back in and said everything looked normal but nothing happened when she turned the key.? I go out and she is right.? Next day changed the ignition switch as most probable cause but not feeling good on that 'cause old switch feels great.? Change switch - no change - no start, no clicky on solenoid.? Decide to check for power at starter.? There is battery power to the solenoid and control power (from the key switch) but then I notice that the braid on the starter to solenoid has rotted through.? So I figured it was the starter.? Replaced the starter with a Bosch rebuilt unit.? Tried to start it up - nothing.? Everything looks proper - OK light comes on, alarm works normally, idiot lights look fine, have 12VDC.? Any been there - found that - out there?
