[s-cars] brake adjusters

Thanks Fred. I guess that's why my pedal travel has gotten so long, since I
have not been using the e-brake. The adjusters seem to be stuck, so I
presume I'll have to take out the rear pads, try to break them loose by
turning them in, then work the e-brake to get the proper adjustment.

Jerry;
On the UrS cars the rear brake adjusters only activate when the emergency
brake is applied. Regular use of the e-brake will keep the rear brake pad
clearances correct and will help keep the e-brake mechanism free. The
mechanism is prone to getting "sticky" if not used, particularly in rust
belt areas.

Does anybody know how the rear brake adjusters work? Do they adjust when
using the emergency brake or do they adjust when backing the car and
applying the foot brakes?
Jerry
