[s-cars] Wot Winter Tires??

I can second the General Altimax Arctic. I had mine studded, which ended up not truly being tested over the past three seasons, but they were phenomenally stable and predictable on fresh snow, packed snow, thick slush and in the wet for the first two seasons, and due to a virtually snowless winter last season, pretty well untested in the third. They are worn enough now that I don't think I can pull a full 4th season from them this year, however, but they've outlasted both my previous Nokian RSi's and Nokian WR G2's (terrible in comparison to the other two) by one full season.
