Here in E. WA we get all kinds of different winter conditions - dry
snow, wet snow, black ice, dry cold and multiple permutations of the
above. I find that with AWD, any winter (not all-season - winter)
tire works acceptably. For the 2WD cars we have had, including FWD C4
Avant and RWD W210 Avant, Gislaved NordFrost5 tires have been a great
combination of price and performance. For the money, they stand head
and shoulders above the others I have run. They are the equal of the
Hakkas I ran early on. For half the price (more or less).
