[s-cars] Door lock issues

In 1984, when the vacuum locks first came out, there was an issue with the altitude we have in Colorado on top of some of the passes. There wasn't enough atmosphere to create a delta pressure high enough to stop the vacuum pump from operating. If you were locked out of your car, the key didn't have enough power to overcome the vacuum force, and your only option was to wait until the battery ran out of juice. This was fixed by Audi by taking our altitude into consideration. If the set points in your system migrate over time, you could have a similar issue at lower altitude.
