[s-cars] Have 034 Coolant Hose Replacement Kit

Oh dear. Looks like I'm in for a ride!!

 

I really do need a solution as there are signs of failure. Dealer prices are
high. So if the sealant helps leaks I can live with that - a tube of RTV
Black is $8. I'll carry the old top radiator tube in the car!

My personal experience with 034's silicone coolant hose kit isn't good.
The Upper radiator hose failed 3 times; although 034 did replace it under
warranty each time I simply cant recommend the kit.

With summer on its way out and winter in the big white north soon
approaching, I decided that its probably wise to change the coolant hoses.
The car is a daily driver and I wouldn't want a hose to let go on my
commute.



So I picked up the hose kit from 034. I also decided to replace heater core
and thermostat whilst I've got the coolant all out.



Question: what else should I change out whilst I've got it all apart?'



Any BTDT with the 034 hose kit?
