[s-cars] Ordering Tires From Amazon

I really can't recommend the DWS tires. I put them on my S6 Avant about 2.5
years ago and regret the purchase.
I guess they might be OK for use in the winter, but they are not a good
summer tire. Grip is far worse for both braking and cornering than any
other tire I've put on my S6. At even what I would consider to be moderate
braking and cornering I'd hear them screech. I'd consider them to be
strictly all-season tires, not summer tires -- OK at all seasons, but not
really good at anything.
I wanted something cheap and long-lasting that still handled decently well.
The DWS tires satisfied the first two criteria but not the third. Quite a
disappointment considering I've been so happy with Continental bike tires.
Meanwhile I'm absolutely loving the Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires I put on
my S8 a couple months ago, but if you want something for the winter those
clearly wouldn't work. The sidewalls don't feel as stiff as the Bridgestone
RE760 tires I had before (which are also quite good), but the grip is
astonishing.
