[s-cars] Sputter, No Boost, Stall, No Start......

Hey fellas,

The subject line says it all.....I was coming home and stopped short a couple of times to get the attention of a misbehaving dog and my '95 urS6 then almost immediately started to have no nothin' in the throttle......seemed like "limp mode" to me.  All gauges read okay, so I limped along about 10 miles, slightly downhill but at 50 mph until literally 1/4 mile to my house I stalled......the Tach went first, then nothing.  I tried to restart while moving and while I could get the motor to turn, I had no ignition.  Pulled over, tried to restart, nothing.  Ran home to get GF's car to ferry dogs home, grabbed tow strap and towed her home.  No fluids spilled, nothing obvious like a hose coming off.  Cam sensor replaced 20-30K ago.  Timing belt intact but due for replacement.  Have not pulled codes, will do in the AM.  Anyone have a thought?

My thought is I just bought a $500 4Runner beater for just such an occasion and now she's jealous......
