Jim,

I've been running 034 HO coils for 3 years now.  I have had one replaced after about a year of running them.  034 replaced it n/c but I had to send the entire kit in for testing.  That is a bit of a pain.  If the LS2 coil kit was available at the time, I would've purchased that one.  The main reason being that the coils are readily available and just about any FLAPS.  Sending the kit is to get a free replacement isn't worth it compared to a $20 coil, IMHO.  YMMV.  The one potential issue with the LS2 set up is that someignition drivers in some ECU's don't like it and show as a misfire.  This is pretty rare and might have been ruled out.  The key thing is that if there is a problem like this and you purchase from Marc at efiexpress.com, then you can return them to him for a full refund.  The 1.8/2.0t and I think the V8 coils that are used now are better but still don't seem to be able to handle the loads for the miles that the stock, LS2 and
034 coils.  The stock is a nice set up for the power levels you have, but wow are they expensive, and a pain to diagnose.  Then there are the POS's to figure in to the equation...

HTH,
Dace
