[s-cars] BIRA question (Hap Maguire)

I had Big Blacks on RS2 brackets on my S6A.  The 16x7.5" stock Avus rims
were a very tight fit, but they did fit.  I tried the 16x8 S4 5 spoke Ronals
and they did not clear.

So running the 16X8 OEM 5 spokes as snows w/the 993TT gear, during the
winter probably isn't such a good idea because of the tight clearance!
If I P/U a slight rock from the "gravel" Oregon throws onto the roads I'll
get something stuck in there!

I've got a pair of really good 16" snows on the 6 spoke Avus wheels that
came from Colorado, that might have another couple seasons on them.
Guess I'll throw the 993TT gear onto the cashmere S6A and see what it looks
like, with both the 5 and 6 spokes?

I have that combination of rotor/caliper under Avus 16 x 7.5 (six spoke)
wheels for the winter. It's frighteningly close radially (rim barrel/caliper
body...about a couple of credit card thickness' clearance) but it does work,
however I am using ECS brackets instead of BIRA. So, your results may vary,
but it's possible.
