[s-cars] Seatbelt light stays on

Judging by the random noises people are making in response to the test message, the list is desperate for action.

Normally, the seatbelt light is on with key on engine off, and when I start the engine, the light switches off.  Shortly after I replaced the heater core and got everything back together, the seatbelt light started flickering after I started the engine.  Now it stays on, although it's noticeably less bright than before I start the engine.

I always have my seatbelt fastened when I start the car and when it's running.  Unfastening my seatbelt doesn't seem to change anything.  I also tried fastening the passenger seatbelt and that doesn't change anything either.

Any ideas about where I should start looking?
