In my experience the easiest thing to do is just buy a car from Bruce - I
got an Avant from him years ago and I now can't remember any details of how
we did the transaction, which can only mean it went off without a hitch. He
knows how to do this, you can trust his advice.

Best method is get all buyer info, DL#, and verify he has valid insurance on
the car for the day he wants to come pickit up.
Have him arrange with his bank in advance to wire you the funds. Then he
comes to see car, and if he likes it he calls his bank and authorizes the
wire to be sent to you with whatever person he originally made the
arrangements.
Assuming that call is made before noon, and time-zone dependent, you should
see clear funds in your account approximately 3 hours later.
Then you give him car, title, bill of sale, and (assuming he has some way of
arranging for a license plate) he leaves.
