Item 19 in that diagram is "t-bolt" 'order qty. 100' 3 x 5.4. Since there are 22 of them, must be the white plastic trim attachment points.

Subject: RE: [s-cars] Door trim and moldings
What I'm looking is help on R/R on the mid door trim removal,
The screw at the back inside of the door is frozen, so haven't really gotten that out just yet:)
I've got some pretty heavy rock chips I'm working on at the bottom of the passenger side door and the driver's side has bad road rash.
Want to paint the bottom of the front doors along with the hood, both fenders, front bumper all the trim pieces on the front end.
Finally have all the front bumper almost ready to go onto the Avant, just need to do some more gluing of the vertical grille holders to keep the grilles in.
Not the caps (#21) on front of rubber moldings at the bottom of the door!
But because my bottom of door rubber moldings were pulled off at the front I didn't ever see/have the #21 caps, so ordered some!
What is the #19 piece? Is it the aft attachment for the #18 the bottom of the fender molding

Jack asked several questions:
1. "Can't find any cap at the leading or trailing edge of the door trim, but there is a screw at the aft end inside the door??
Wonder if I should pull forward or aft, hummmm oh well we'll see??"
Somebody added that screw (shouldn't be oneIIRC). The caps are at the front end (Items 20 and 21) in the link below and you pull towards the back of the door. (Pushing the new trim on later):

2. "Got the mid trim off the fenders...
Really how many functions do ya have to do to get a 5" PIECE OF TRIM OFF!"
Vhy make it zimple vhen ve kann make it whery whery complicated:

3. "Explain the evporatitive canister function and what service is necessary?"
Click on the "N80 Evaporative Emissions" label, upper middle right in this diagram (all the other labels are hot links as well)(I have posted this diagram link before):

I don't think they need to be serviced, just maintained properly. If anything, the activated carbon granules might have to be replaced at some point.
Hope the above helps.
