[s-cars] Next car. Where to go from URS4?

While I would have loved to be on the same plane with our esteemed Mr. Mahoney, I unfortunately had to keep fuel mileage within reasonable limits. As a result, I just recently moved into an '06 A6 Avant 3.2L (C6) with 84K on it. Has decent power, rides great, and is a very nice highway cruiser. Won't be much for modding, but hey, I've got old BMWs for that. Worth a look IMHO.

I still like my URS4, but at 20 years old, I'm thinking of getting
something newer. The newer S4 models look nice, but I pride myself in
the fact that I haven't taken my URS4 to the stealership or anyplace
else in the 10 years I've owned it. I've fixed anything that went wrong
myself. The newer S4 models do not appear to be anywhere near as easy
to work on. That seems to be the case for just about every car newer
than the URS4 though. For those of you who move on from your URS4 to a
newer car, what did you going with and why?

Thanks,

JR
