[s-cars] silicone coolant hoses

I have had a strange thing happen with one of the 034 silicone coolant
hoses on my 95 S6. At the end of the large hose that runs between the
upper part of the radiator and the coolant rail under the intake
manifold, it started to swell up and then a day later the thing just
burst wide open. It was only swelling up at the point where it was
connecting to the coolant rail and I would have to open the reservior
to decompress the system for it to relax. Has anyone ever had an issue
like this before. The silicone hoses are suppose to be very strong and
I am suprised that this happened. I sent the pictures and talked to
034 but they mentioned that they have never seen this before.
