[s-cars] Replacing exhaust system on '95 S6

After 240K miles my exhaust system is ready for replacement.  Everything
aft of the front pipe needs to be replaced.  OEM parts on
genuineaudiparts.com come to about $3,500.  I'm looking for a less
expensive alternative that will pass inspection and emissions test for the
street and maintain or improve performance.  Any thoughts?
