[s-cars] Auto stuck in 1st

Paul: I have been sending you auto trans info and involving two UrS people I know with autobox UrSs, Popdemonic
in Thailand (since converted to manual) and vbmica in New Zealand. Check your emails at heneghan dot co dot uk.

vbmica just sent me this email:

"HI Dave,

There is a large ( round?) connector at the transmission with a dozen or so wires. Check that this is making
 a good connection. When I was trying to fix my reversing lights I pulled this connector apart to clean it.
 Then when I reinstalled it the transmission went crazy and would not shift or was stuck in gear (iirc).
 Eventually I got it back together with good contact so the transmission would work. 
No problems for over two years - but still no reversing lights.   :(

If the problem car is like mine there is no transmission dipstick and checking the fluid level is 
difficult with a long procedure involving fluid temperatures.

I have this somewhere if it's needed.
