Thanks JC. I'm not even thinking catastrophic failure with no warning necessarily. I just cannot spend more than I've EVER spent on a car, only to have a (let's call it only)$4000 job practically overdue on it already. Not to mention my other minor misgivings about it. Case closed. Thanks again for helping me avoid biting off way more than I'm prepares to chew.
