[s-cars] Sports Wagons? Replacement for '95.5 S6: S4 Avant V8?

I have a 2001 Allroad with the manual. Other than front axles I think the
the only thing I have had to do with it is related to the suspension.
Arnott does have a coil spring replacement kit for those who want to go
boring and conventional. So far I am still willing to deal with the quirky
suspension. I haven't had to touch the front yet, but I did put in
Bilsteins when I did the back. That helped squat a lot. Mine has an APR
chip that a previous owner bought. Over 300 ft-lbs of torque by 2000 rpm
is very nice. I don't know that I would trust this chip on an automatic
however.
It took me about a year to find the manual, but eventually found it only 2
hours away. I don't get to drive it much anymore since my wife took it to
serve as the primary kid hauler. It is a bit soft, but still a very nice
car.
