[s-cars] Leaking fuel line

I have also had this line go bad (the one that is supposed to be protected by the small skid plate). I couldn't get the fitting apart and thought that it would be wise to not apply heat here, so I took it to a shop to have them deal with it. Like Steve, I also used the factory part.

I just developed a leak at the barb fitting of the supply fuel line located 
right in front of the right rear wheel. I believe this hose connects at the 
fuel pump right under the sealing cap in the trunk. Anyone have a similar 
problem and fixed it. Is this something that is a diy or would it turn out 
to be a major job like the fuel tank having to come out. The hose is about 
115 dollars from Audi.

I've had the fuel lines replaced with the factory parts- not that bad a job. There are other options (search fuel lines on the QuattroWorld forum) but I think the factory lines are the best option.
