I just repaired this fuel line a couple weeks ago. Much easier if you have the car on a lift. Most difficult part of repair is fishing old line out and new line back into the tie wrap type clamp that secures hoses under fuel tank.

I just developed a leak at the barb fitting of the supply fuel line located
right in front of the right rear wheel. I believe this hose connects at the
fuel pump right under the sealing cap in the trunk. Anyone have a similar
problem and fixed it. Is this something that is a diy or would it turn out
to be a major job like the fuel tank having to come out. The hose is about
115 dollars from Audi.

I've had the fuel lines replaced with the factory parts- not that bad a job. There are other options (search fuel lines on the QuattroWorld forum) but I think the factory lines are the best option.
