Paul: You have a G40 cam sensor that is going out/dieing. Time to replace it before it strands you.

G40 info: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/22580.phtml

Specific G40 replacement DIY: http://picasaweb.google.com/persing/CamPositionSensorReplacement#

Buy the replacement from Marc S. at EFI Express.

Good luck

Ok, I'll see if I can get the list chatter up a bit.

Patient, 1995.5 S6, ~206,000 miles. I have been getting an
intermittent CE light while driving. The car has also been hard to
start of 4-5 occasions in the last month or so. The engine would crank
over just fine, but it would never fire. After cranking and letting
sit for a minute or two, the engine would fire, and everything would be
back to normal.

2113: (G40) Hall sensor in distributor
(3B, early AAN engines) or camshaft position Hall Effect sensor later
S4/S6 AAN engine).
Distributor alignment, faulty sender, Mis-located sensor & distributor,
Cam timing possibly incorrect on AAN engine, Check lower Crankshaft Gear
keyway

Got that code twice.

	What's the next step?

	Thanks!
