Just be aware that it's a good 8 hour job, have not done it myself, but others tell me it's a beotch of a job!

Good alternative is "Seal All". It's pretty amazing stuff.

Last year I got a tank from a wrecker in Arkansas and then got another one for a friend from a wrecker in Texas. Both tanks were in very good condition
- clean and no rust. The tanks were around $50 and shipping was around $130.
I couldn't find anyone who would ship used gas tanks across the border, so I had them shipped to a PakNShip at the nearest border crossing and picked them up there. I did an online search through the wrecker databases and then contacted the wreckers that came up. None would ship a used tank across the border and around half wouldn't ship a used tank at all.

In 2012 Audi USA were selling off their stock of new UrS tanks for around
$200 each. Good luck! Good used ones are out there but I'd stick to wreckers in the southern States.
