Silicone hoses leak as they dont seal well against the barbs. People have used rtv to seal them although you wont get it off again.

</div>I purchased the 034 coolant hoses for my totaled in 2010, Red S6A,
Never was able to get the under the IM one to stop leaking/weeping??
In fact almost all of the hoses wept at the barbs to the overflow tank and
rad, replaced the hose clamps still wept
That car went away, was planning on putting the hoses onto my Cashmere S6A
But I've got bigger fish to fry than coolant hoses.

I've got the same.. only a small amount of loss when cold. Traced back
(using dye) under the front of the intake manifold, already replaced the
coolant hose under there with silicone but it seems from other posts that
the OE hose is the way to go... I'm going to pull my intake to see if I can
locate the exact source.
