[s-cars] Coolant Leak

I had coolant disappearing on the black avant for over a year and also
could not find the source.
Finally got bad enough that it left a trail on the engine to the hose under
the intake manifold.
Butofcourse I had checked this many many times and it wasn't until it was
removed that I could see about a 3/8 slice.
This must have started as a pin hole and slowly progressed.
The audi gods situated it such that it faced the engine block so it could
not be seen.
I fixed it with as good a goodyear hose as I could find and as good a fuel
line hose clamp set as I could find.
It took a lot of effort to tighten sufficiently because even though it
appears to be "right there" reachable, it was a bitch.
Anyhoo, the pig survived a 3 day drive chgo to sanDiego in 95+ weather
without losing a drop and is still going.
Of all the leaks the aan can manifest, this was the most diabolical.
