[s-cars] Bye bye - thanks for all the help

I'm sorry to say the time has come to move on. I bought my first S6 back in
2002, the next in 2004 and my last in 2010. I think myself and my wife have
put up something like 272,000 miles on these tremendous cars. Maintenance
costs have been astonishingly low, although I've been through Dave Forgie's
'Things that will fail on your AAN and strand you' at least once on each
car.

This list and the original quattro list have been invaluable, along with
audiworld, quattroworld and Scott Mockry's wonderful website. I've enjoyed
conversations about Torsens, torque settings for crank bolts, and a
thousand other obscure topics argued for and against by passionate Audi
owners - it's been a blast!

However, now that the kids have grown up, I've decided to downsize and have
just bought a 2005 S4 Avant (I'm depressing myself by reading millions of
article about chain guide failures), and a rather nice 2006 A4 Cabriolet.

If there are any UK listers still around who still have S6 addiction, I'll
be putting the three S6s (one good, one bad and one ugly) on ebay over the
next few days.
