For removing the paint a good method is soda blasting, then powder coat to match a uniform silver. Otherwise, to obtain the exact factory finish you will need to go traditional paint methods and clear coat, which will get expensive fast.

I've had really good luck with using Adam at http://www.finishsolutionsvt.com

I have not seen a good color/finish of wheel paint that will mimick the original matte finish and dull grey color. Anyone have a thought? Also, how about a way to get the clearcoat/corrosion off the wheels to begin with? Once again, doesn't need to be great, just better than what they are now, which is horrible!
