[s-cars] Running FA in a VM on a Mac

I¹ve been running VCDS on a Mac for a couple of years. I use VirtualWare
(Vmware) as my simulator program and have stayed with Windows XP as Vag-Com
is the only reason I ever use Windows. One thing that¹s most likely common
to all these Simulator programs is the fact that you have to enable the
VAG-Com interface. In Vmware Fusion there is a tab at the top named ³Virtual
Machine² when you click on it you get a drop down box which allows you to
select what interfaces you want to allow access to the VM side. Your Vag-Com
cable is most like USB so check to see if it¹s enabled. HTH
